أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن شهردار المعلم الأصبهاني : كان أديبا فاضلا بارعا في الأدب، فصيحا كثير السماع حسن الخطّ صاحب أصول، مات في شوّال سنة ست وأربعين وأربعمائة. قال يحيى بن منده: سمعت من الثقات، منهم أبو غالب ابن هارون تلميذه، أنه كان رجلا فاضلا إلا أنه كان لا يصلّي الصلوات كما قيل. [- ١٩١-]
