أحمد بن محمد جراب الدولة : هو أحمد بن محمد بن علويه، من أهل سجستان، ويكنى أبا العباس، وكان طنبوريا أحد الظرفاء الطياب، كان في أيام المقتدر وأدرك دولة بني بويه فلذلك سمى نفسه بجراب الدولة لأنهم كانوا يفتخرون بالتسمية في الدولة، وكان يلقب بالريح أيضا، وله كتاب ترويح الأرواح ومفتاح السرور والافراح لم يصنّف في فنه مثله اشتمالا على فنون الهزل والمضاحك. - ١٥٣-
