ذكر الخبر عن وفاه عبد الله بن طاهر وفي هذه السنة مات أبو العباس عبد الله بن طاهر بنيسابور يوم الاثنين لإحدى عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَبِيعٍ الأَوَّلِ بعد موت أشناس التركي بتسعة أيام. ومات عبد الله بن طاهر وإليه الحرب والشرطة والسواد وخراسان وأعمالها والري وطبرستان وما يتصل بها وكرمان، وخراج هذه الأعمال كان يوم مات ثمانية وأربعين ألف ألف درهم، فولى الواثق أعمال عبد الله بن طاهر كلها ابنه طاهرا. وحج في هذه السنة إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن مصعب، فولى أحداث الموسم. وحج بالناس في هذه السنة محمد بْن داود.ثم دخلت
