ذكر خبر إيقاع الروم باهل زبطره وفي هذه السنة أوقع توفيل بن ميخائيل صاحب الروم بأهل زبطرة، فأسرهم وخرب بلدهم، ومضى من فوره إلى ملطية فأغار على أهلها وعلى أهل حصون من حصون المسلمين، إلى غير ذلك، وسبا من المسلمات- فيما قيل- أكثر من ألف امرأة، ومثل بمن صار في يده من المسلمين، وسمل أعينهم، وقطع آذانهم وآنافهم.
