وفي هذه السنة تزوج المأمون بوران بنت الحسن بْن سهل . وفيها زوج المأمون علي بْن موسى الرضى ابنته أم حبيب، وزوج محمد ابن علي بْن موسى ابنته أم الفضلوحج بالناس في هذه السنة إبراهيم بْن موسى بْن جعفر بْن محمد، فدعا لأخيه بعد المأمون بولاية العهد. وكان الحسن بْن سهل كتب إلى عيسى بْن يزيد الجلودي، وكان بالبصرة فوافى مكة في أصحابه، فشهد الموسم، ثم انصرف ومضى إبراهيم بْن موسى إلى اليمن، وكان قد غلب عليها حمدويه بْن علي بْن عيسى بْن ماهانثم دخلت
