ومنهم: ضبيعة وهو من ولد عيينة بن حصن، وكان رجل يقال له بقعاء من بني بدر قتل رجلا من ولد ضبيعة، فقالت أخت بقعاء: لا درّ درّك يا بقعاء إن هجعت … ليل التمام بل العبديّة النّجب أو تقطع الخرق بعد الخرق ملثما (¬١) … وقد ينجّي الفتى ذي الحيلة الهرب حتى يبيت بأرض لا يقرّ بها … إلا الوحوش وحتى يسكن الطلب وقال عقيل بن علفة: أبلغ ضبيعة مني إن مررت به … فالمرء يلبس مولاه على الريب أتطلبون بني بدر بجاهلهم … وتصلحون النائي (¬٢) من سائر العرب
