عبد الله بن إباض الخارجي صاحب الإباضية، وعبد الله بن صفّار الذي نسبت إليه الصفرية، وقوم يقولون هو عبد الله بن صفار، وذلك تصحيف، والبرك، هو عبد الله الخارجي، الذي ضرب معاوية بن أبي سفيان ففلق إليته، فأخذ فقطعت يداه ورجلاه، فلماقدم البصرة ولد له، فقال زياد بن أبي سفيان: يولد لهذا الكلب ولا يولد لأمير المؤمنين من ضربته، فقتله وصلبه.
