    وولد الصّديّ بن مالك بن حنظلة: ثعلبة بن الصدي. وعامر بن الصدي. وعيثامة بن الصدي.منهم: الجعد بن عامر بن مالك بن ثعلبة الذي يقول له جرير بن عطية: ومنا الذي أبلى صديّ بن مالك … ونفّر طيرا عن جعادة وقّعا (¬١) والجعد هو الذي أسر الصمّة الجشمي يوم عاقل، وكان الصمة أسيرا في بني الجعد، وقد ذكرنا خبره، وقتل ثعلبة بن الحارث بن حصبة بن أزنم إياه. ومنهم: المرّار بن منقذ بن عبيد بن عامر بن الصديّ بن مالك بن حنظلة الشاعر، الذي يقول: وإنّ قراب البطن يكفيك ملؤه … ويكفيك سوآت الأمور اجتنابها
