منهم قطام بنت شجنة بن عدي بن عامر بن عوف، قتل أبوها وأخوها الأخضر يوم النهروان مع الخوارج، وهي التي خطبها ابن ملجم فاشترطت عليه عبدا وقينة وثلاثة آلاف درهم، وقتل علي بن أبي طالب فقال الشاعر: لا مهر أغلى من عليّ وقتله … ولا فتك إلا دون فتك ابن ملجم وقد كتبنا خبرها فيما تقدم، وقال ابن ملجم: ثلاثة آلاف وعبد وقينة … وضرب عليّ بالحسام المصمّم وقد يجعل البيتان للشاعر الأول
