ومن هذيل: المعطل أحد بني رهم بن سعد بن هذيل، وهو الذي يقول في قصيدة له: سؤال الغنيّ عن أخيه كأنه … بذكرته وسنان أو متواسن (¬١) فحدثني أبو محمد التوزي عن أبي زيد الأنصاري قال: قال أبو عمرو بن العلاء: هذا من أشعر بيت قالته العرب. قال: وقال المفضل الضبي شبيها بذلك، وكان يتعجب منه.
