حماس بن خالد الديلي الذي قال لامرأته حين أظلهم النبي ﷺ: لآتينّك بخادم من أصحاب محمد، فلما فتح رسول الله ﷺ مكة، ودخلها جاء منهزما فقالت له امرأته وهي هازئة: أين الخادم فإني لم أزل متوقعة لمجيئك به فقال: إنك لو شهدتنا بالخندمة … إذ فرّ صفوان وفر عكرمة وأبو يزيد كالعجوز المؤتمة … لم تنطقي في اللوم أدنى كلمة إذ ضرّبتنا بالسيوف المسلمة … لهم زئير خلفنا وغمغمة (¬١) وكان هؤلاء الذين سمى يقولون: لا ندع محمد يدخل مكة أبدا. ومن بني الديل:
