خارجة بن حذافة بن غانم بن عامر، وكان خارجة قاضيا على مصر من قبل عمرو بن العاص. وكان في جيشه، قتله الخارجي وهو يظنّ أنه عمرو بن العاص، فلما أخذ وأدخل على عمرو، قال له: أردت عمرا وأراد الله خارجة، فذهبت مثلا: ومن ولده: سليمان بن أبي حثمة بن حذافة، وأم سليمان: الشفّاء بنت عبد الله من بني عدي أيضا وللشفاء دار بالمدينة في الحكاكين. قال محمد بن سعد عن الواقدي أن عمر استعمله على بعض العمل (¬٢). وحكيم بن مؤرق بن حذافة كان شريفا. وحطيط بن شريق بن غانم، هلك في طاعون عمواس بالشام. وولد حذيفة بن غانم:
