    معمر بن عثمان، وعمرو بن عثمان، وعمير بن عثمان، وزهرة بن عثمان، وعبد الرحمن بن عثمان، وكان يقال له: ابن شارب الذهب، وهو الذي قال: دخلنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في عمرة القضية فسلك فيما بين الصخرتين اللتين في المروة مصعدا فيها. فولد معمر: معبد بن معمر، وعبيد الله بن معمر، وعثمان بن معمر بن عثمان وكان معبد فيما ذكر أبو اليقظان ممن تولى دفن عثمان بن عفان، وليس يعرف لمعبد عقب. وأما عمرو بن عثمان بن عمرو فهو من مهاجرة الحبشة، واستشهد يوم القادسية.
