ثم عمرة رسول الله ﷺ وهي عمرة القضاء، ويقال عمرة القضية أيضا، سار ﷺ، وساق معه ستين بدنة، وذلك في ذي القعدة سنة سبع، وكان على بدنه ناجية بن جندب الأسلمي. فأقام بمكة ثلاثة أيام، ثم خرج راجعا إلى المدينة، وجعل المشركون يقولون: لقد أصاب أصحاب محمد بعدنا ضرّ، فأمرهم رسول الله ﷺ أن يظهروا الجلد والقوة، فلذلك كان الرّمل (¬١)، وكان خليفة رسول الله ﷺ على المدينة أبا ذرّ جندب بن جنادة الغفاري. ويقال عويف بن زمعة بن الأضبط الكناني.
