    ١١٢٤٨- زينب بنت عثمان «٣» بن مظعون الجمحية. قال: ... خطبها ابن عمر في عهد النبي ﷺ، وخطبها المغيرة، فمال عمها قدامة لابن عمر، لأنه ابن أخته زينب بنت مظعون، ومالت أم زينب بنت عثمان للمغيرة في قصة مذكورة. قلت: ذكر ذلك ابن سعد عن إسماعيل بن أبي أويس، عن عبد العزيز بن المطلب، عن عمر بن حسين، عن نافع، قال: تزوج ابن عمر زينب بنت عثمان بن مظعون بعد وفاة أبيها زوّجه إياها عمّها قدامة، فأرغبهم المغيرة بن شعبة في الصّداق، فقالت أم الجارية للجارية: لا تجيزي. وأعلمت ذلك رسول اللَّه ﷺ هي وأمها فردّ نكاحها، فنكحها المغيرة بن شعبة.
