    ١٠٦١١- أبو مفرز التميمي. له إدراك، ذكره سيف بن عمر في الفتوح في قصة وفاة أبي ذر، عن إسماعيل بن رافع، عن محمد بن كعب، فقال في آخر القصة: إن عدة الذين حضروا وفاة أبي ذر مع ابن مسعود ثلاثة عشر نفسا، منهم أبو مفرز التميمي. وذكره سيف أيضا في قصة الذين شربوا الخمر في عهد عمر فحدهم، قال: وقال أبو مفرز في ذلك: صبرنا وكان الصّبر منّا سجيّة ... ليالي ظفرنا بالقرى والمعاصر ولم يستفه فيما هنا جبلّة ... كما سفهت بالشّام خلّ العشائر [الطويل]
