١٠٠٤٨- أبو سلمة بن سفيان بن عبد الأسد ابن أخي الّذي بعده. مات أبوه كافرا قبل بدر كما تقدم في ترجمة أخيه الأسود، وأم هذا أم جميل بنت المغيرة بن أبي العاص بن أمية، وله عقب منهم محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي سلمة بن سفيان المعروف بالأوقص قاضي المدينة في زمن موسى الهادي، ثم ولي قضاء بغداد بعد الرشيد، ذكره الزبير بن بكار.
