    ٩٩٩٦- أبو سروعة النوفلي «٥» : هو عقبة بن عامر عند الأكثر- وقد تقدم في الأسماء، وقيل هو أخوه، واسمه الحارث، قاله العدوي، وذكر أنه أسلم يوم الفتح، وكذا قال الزبير وغيره. واختلف في سينه فبالفتح عند الأكثر، وقيل بالكسر والراء الساكنة، وزعم الحميدي أنه رآه بخط الدارقطنيّ مضموم العين، ولعلها كانت علامة الإهمال فظنها ضمة.
