٨٨٩٤- النعمان الرعينيّ. قيل ذو رعين، كان من ملوك اليمن، وأسلم على عهد رسول اللَّه ﵌. وذكر ابن إسحاق أن ملوك اليمن كاتبوا النبيّ ﵌ بإسلامهم، فقدم عليه بكتابهم، وهم: الحارث بن عبد كلال، وأخوه نعيم، والنعمان قيل ذي رعين، وهمدان، ومعافر، وبعث إليه زرعة بن سيف بن ذي يزن مالك بن مرارة. ووقع عند المستغفريّ أن النعمان كان الرسول بالكتاب، وخطأه أبو موسى في ذلك. وقد استدركه ابن فتحون عن ابن إسحاق، وعن الطبري على الصواب.
