    ٨٦٧٧- نافع بن ظريف «١» بن عمرو بن نوفل بن عبد مناف النوفليّ. قال العدويّ: هو من مسلمة الفتح، وهو الّذي كتب المصحف لعمر، قال الزّبير بن بكّار: ولد ظريب نافعا، وأمه صفيّة بنت عبد اللَّه بن بجاد الكنانيّة، وهو والد أم قتال أم محمد بن جبير بن مطعم، وأمّها عتبة بنت أبي إهاب التي تزوّجها عقبة بن الحارث، ثم فارقها من أجل قول المرأة السوداء: إني أرضعتكما، ففارقها عقبة فتزوّجها نافع هذا. وقال هشام بن الكلبيّ: كان يكتب المصاحف لعمر بن الخطاب. وقال البلاذريّ: كتب المصاحف لعثمان، وقيل لعمر.
