    ٨٠٨١- معاوية بن حزن القشيري: قرأت بخط الخطيب في كتاب المؤتلف في ترجمة عقيل، بالتصغير وبوزن عظيم، قال في الثاني: وعبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عقيل النيسابورىّ، ثم ساق من طريقه عن أبي حامد الحسنويّ، عن أحمد بن يونس، عن عمر بن عبد اللَّه، عن سفيان بن حسين، عن داود الورّاق، عن سعيد بن حكيم، عن أبيه، عن جده معاوية بن حزن القشيري، قال: أتيت رسول اللَّه ﵌ فلما وقفت عليه قال: «أما أنّي قد سألت اللَّه أن يعينني عليكم» . وذكر الحديث بطوله، كذا بخطه معاوية بن حزن مجوّدة، وعمل على حزن ضبة، وأنا أظن أنه ابن حيدة الّذي بعد هذا فكتبته هنا على الاحتمال، ونبهت عليه في القسم الأخير.
