    ٨٤٤٣- المسيّب بن نجبة، آخر «١» .قال ابن عساكر: له إدراك. ذكره عبد اللَّه بن محمد بن ربيعة القدامي في فتوح الشّام، وقال: حدّثني الحارث بن كعب، عن قيس بن أبي حازم، قال: كان المسيّب ممن خرج مع خالد بن الوليد، وكانوا مع بجيلة، وأكثرهم من أحمس نحو مائتي رجل ومن طي نحو مائة وخمسين رجلا، ومن ذبيان نحو مائتي رجل، فيهم المسيّب بن نخبة، ومن المهاجرين والأنصار نحو ثلاثمائة، فجعل خالد على شطر خيله المسيّب، وعلى الشّطر الآخر رجلا من بني بكر بن وائل. قلت: أورد ابن عساكر هذه القصّة في ترجمة المسيّب بن نجبة الفزاريّ، والّذي يغلب على ظني أنه غيره، وأنه أرسل.
