    ٧٩٥٦- مسعود بن أمية بن خلف الجمحيّ. قتل أبوه يوم بدر، ولولده عامر بن مسعود رواية عن النّبي ﵌، والأكثرون قالوا: إن حديثه مرسل، فتكون الصحبة لأبيه، وكان من مسلمة الفتح أو مات على كفره قبيل الفتح، وولد له عامر قبل الفتح بقليل، فلذلك لم يثبت له صحبة السّماع من النبيّ ﵌، وإن كان معدودا في الصّحابة، لأن له رؤية. وذكر الزّبير أنّ مسعودا هذا كان زوج هند بنت أبيّ بن خلف بنت عمه.
