    ٧٩٤٢- مسافع بن عياض بن «٤» صخر بن عامر بن كعب بن سعد بن تيم بن مرة القرشي التيمي. قال أبو عمر: له صحبة، ولا أعرف له رواية. وقال الزّبير بن بكّار: كان شاعرا، فتعرض لحسان، فقال فيه أبياتا من جملتها: يا آل تيم ألا تنهون جاهلكم ... قبل القذاف بصمّ كالجلاميد [البسيط]وقال المرزبانيّ: شاعر معروف، هجا حسان بن ثابت، فقال حسان من أبيات، فذكر البيت، وبعده: ولكن سأصرفها عنكم وأعدلها ... لطلحة بن عبيد اللَّه ذي الجود [البسيط] وهو في ديوان حسان لأبي سعيد السّكري.
