    ٧٣٢٤ ز- قيس بن فروة بن زرارة بن الأرقم بن النعمان بن عمرو بن وهب بن ربيعة بن معاوية الأكرمين. له إدراك، قتل أبوه وإخوته في الجاهلية مع الأشعث بن قيس حين قتل أبوه، وخرج يطلب بثأره، وشهد قيس هذا فتوح العراق، واستشهد ببلنجر، وهو من أرض العراق، بفتح الموحدة واللام وسكون النون بعدها جيم، وكان أميرا لوقعة سلمان بن ربيعة الباهلي. ذكره ابن الكلبي.
