٧٢٩٤ ز- قحيف بن السليك الهالكي: من بني هالك بالهاء، وهم من بني أسد. أسلم في عهد النبي ﵌، وكان مع ضرار بن الأزور، وقضاعي بن عمرو، وسنان بن أبي سنان، يحاربون طليحة بن خويلد الأسدي لما ادّعى النبوة، وكان قحيف شجاعا فاتكا، فأمروه أن يفتك بطليحة فشهر سيفه، ثم حمل على طليحة فضربه ضربة خرّ منها مغشيا عليه، وتكاثر عليه أصحاب طليحة فقتلوه، فأفاق طليحة وتداوى منها، وأشاع بأنّ السلاح لا يحيك فيه، فافتتنوا به. روى ذلك سيف بن عمر في كتاب الفتوح، عن بدر بن الحارث بن عثمان بن قطبة، عن نفر من بني أسد أبوه أحدهم.
