    ٧٠٨٨- قتادة بن قيس «٤» بن حبشي الصدفي. عداده في الصحابة، ولا يعرف له رواية، شهد فتح مصر، وله ذكر وخطّة. هكذا ذكره ابن مندة، فقال: قاله لي ابن سعد بن عبد الأعلى. انتهى. ولم أر في تاريخ أبي سعيد قوله عداده في الصحابة، وزاد أن محرس قتادة بالصدف يعرف به، وجنان قتادة التي قبليّ بركة المعافر تعرف بجنان الحبش، قال: وبه تعرف أيضا بركة الحبش، كأنها نسبت إليه فقيل لها بركة بن حبشي، ثم خفف.
