    ٦٣٢٤ ز- عبد اللَّه بن حزن. أدرك عمر. روى عنه أبو علي الكاهلي قصة لأبي موسى. أخرجها أحمد من رواية عبد الملك العرزميّ، عن أبي عليّ- رجل من كاهل، قال: خطبنا أبو موسى الأشعري، فذكر شيئا، فقام إليه عبد اللَّه بن حزن، وقيس بن المضارب، فقالا: لتخرجنّ مما قلت أو لنأتين عمر «١» . فقال: بل أخرج مما قلت، فذكر حديث: إنا نعوذ بك من أن نشرك بك شيئا نعلمه، ونستغفرك مما لا نعلمه. وهذان الرجلان من المخضرمين، لأنّ من يكون في زمن عمر ﵁ يخوّف أميره بعمر دون أخواله لا بد أن يكون أدرك العصر النبوي.
