    ٦٢٥٨- عبيد بن عمير بن قتادة الليثي يكنى أبا عاصم «١» : لأبيه صحبة، وسيأتي في مكانه. وذكر البخاريّ أنّ عبيد بن عمير رأى النبيّ ﵌. وقال مسلّم: ولد على عهد النبي ﵌. قلت: وله رواية عن عمر، وعلي، وأبي ذرّ، وأبيّ بن كعب، وأبي موسى، وعائشة، وابن عمر، وغيرهم. روى عنه عبد اللَّه بن أبي مليكة، وعطاء، ومجاهد، وعبد العزيز بن رفيع، وعمرو بن دينار، وأبو الزبير، ومعاوية بن قرّة، وآخرون. قال العجليّ: مكي ثقة من كبار التابعين. قال ابن جريج: مات عبيد بن عمير قبل ابن عمر، وقال ابن حبان: مات سنة ثمان وستين.
