    ٥٨٩٠ ز- عمرو بن شعثم الثقفي. ذكره ابن السّكن في آخر ترجمة عمرو بن غيلان بن سلمة الثقفي، فقال: وقد روى عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن الشامي، عن عمرو شعثم الثقفي، أنه مرّ برسول اللَّه ﵌ وقد أسبل إزاره، فقال له رسول اللَّه ﵌: «ارفع إزارك، فإنّ خلق اللَّه كلّه حسن» . انتهى. ولم يسق سنده، وضبط شعثم: بضم المعجمة وسكون العين المهملة وضم المثلثة، وسمّى ابن قانع أباه سعيدا فصحفه، ونسبه، فقال: عمرو بن سعيد بن معتّب بن مالك بن كعب بن عمرو بن سعيد بن عوف بن ثقيف، ثم ساق الحديث من طريق علي بن يزيد، عن القاسم أبي عبد الرحمن عمرو بن سعيد. وقد تقدم في عمرو بن سفيان.
