    ٥٨٥٦ ز- عمرو بن سعد بن عمرو بن زيد بن مالك بن يزيد بن أسامة بن زيد بن أرطاة بن شرحبيل الخولانيّ. ذكره الهمدانيّ في «الأنساب» في ترجمة يزيد بن حجر الّذي كان يقال له المتوكل- أنه كان أول من أسلم من قومه. قال الرّشاطيّ: وعمرو بن سعد صاحب الترجمة عمّ المتوكل المذكور، قال: وهو أخو شهر الّذي يقول له الشاعر: قل لعمرو وقل لشهر أبوكم ... خير من أمسكته ذات نطاق [الخفيف]
