    ٥٤١٩ ز- عتبة بن سهيل بن عمرو القرشي العامري. أظنه من مسلمة الفتح، فإنّ الزبير ذكر أن سهيل بن عمرو خرج هو وآل بيته إلى الشام فتجاهدا «٢» في خلافة، ورافقه الحارث بن هشام بن المغيرة المخزومي، ومعه آل بيته أيضا، فأتى عمر بعد ذلك بعبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هاشم وبفاختة بنت عتبة بن سهيل بن عمرو، وهما صغيران، فتزوج عتبة بفاختة، وسماهما الشّريدين، وذلك بعد موت من كان خرج معه من أهلها أجمع، فلعل عتبة مات قبل ذلك، أو كان معهم فمات بالشام.
