    ٤٩٦٦- عبد اللَّه بن أبي سبقة «١» : ويقال سقبة «٢» الباهلي «٣» . ذكره البغويّ وغيره في الصحابة، وأوردوا من طريق سعيد بن أبي حبان الباهلي، حدثنا شبل بن نعيم الباهلي، حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن أبي سقبة «٤» الباهلي، قال: أتيت النبيّ ﷺ وهو واقف على بعيره وكأن رجله في غرزة لحماره فاحتضنتها، فقرعني بالسّوط، فقلت: يا رسول اللَّه، القصاص، فناولني السّوط فقبّلت ساقه ورجله. ورواه ابن مندة من هذا الوجه، وزاد في حجة الوداع، وقال: غريب. ووقع في روايته سعيد بن أبي حبان. وصوّب أبو نعيم الأول. وحكى ابن قانع أنه قيل فيه عبد اللَّه بن أبي سقبة «٥» .
