    ٤٨٤٦- عبد اللَّه بن عاصم الأشعري «١» : شامي. روى عبد اللَّه بن محيريز عنه أنه قال: لعن رسول اللَّه ﵌ عشرة: العاضهة- يعني الساحرة، والواشرة «٢» ... الحديث «٣» . أخره «٤» ابن مندة وأبو نعيم، هكذا ذكره ابن الأثير، ولم أر له في الكتابين ذكرا ولا في تاريخ ابن عساكر. نعم في تاريخ ابن عساكر عبد اللَّه بن عضاه الأشعري وأبو عضاه- بضاد معجمة وآخره هاء عوض الميم. وذكر أنه شهد صفّين مع معاوية، وكان رسول يزيد بن معاوية إلى عبد اللَّه بن الزبير في طلب البيعة له، وأنه كان ممن استخلفه مسلم بن عقبة لما فرغ من وقعة الحرّة وقصد مكة فأدركته الوفاة، ولم يذكر من أمره غير ذلك ولا ذكر لعبد اللَّه بن محيريز عنه رواية.
