    ٣٨٧٥ ز- شدّاد بن عوف «١» : ذكره أبو أحمد العسكري، وروى من طريق عمارة بن غزية، عن يعلى بن شداد بن عوف عن أبيه، قال: كنا نعدّ الرّياء على عهد رسول اللَّه ﷺ الشّرك الأصغر، هكذا أورده ابن الأثير. وأنا أظنّ أن قوله: «عوف» تصحيف سمعي، وإنما هو أوس، فإن المتن مشهور من رواية يعلى بن شدّاد بن أوس عن أبيه.
