    ٣٧٣٩ ز- سويد، مولى عتبة بن غزوان: له إدراك، وكان مع مولاه في ولايته على البصرة، ووفد معه على عمر فردّه على البصرة، فلما بلغ عتبة قال: اللَّهمّ لا تردّني إليها، فمات في الطّريق، فرجع سويد إلى عمر يخبره بوفاته فكان ذلك في سنة ست عشرة.
