    ٣٧٠٤ ز- سفيان الهذلي: والد النضر. له إدراك. أخرج أبو نعيم في الدّلائل من طريق النضر بن سفيان، عن أبيه، قال: خرجنا في عير لنا إلى الشّام، فلما كنّا بقرب معاوية عرّسنا، فإذا بفارس يقول- وهو بين السّماء والأرض: أيّها النّاس، هبّوا فليس ذا بحين رقاد، فقد خرج أحمد وطردت الشّياطين كل مطرد، فرجعنا إلى أهلنا فإذا هم يذكرون أنّ نبيا اسمه أحمد خرج من قريش بمكّة. قلت: وقد أخرجه الواقديّ من طريق مسلم بن جندب، عن النضر به.
