    ٢٨٥٨- زياد بن حدرة «٢» : بن عمرو بن عدي التميميّ. قال ابن أبي حاتم في باب الجيم من الآباء: روى عنه ابنه أنه أتى النبيّ ﵌. وروى أبو موسى من طريق جميع بن علي بن زياد بن حدرة، حدّثني أبي، عن أبيه زياد بن حدرة، قال: أتانا أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﵌ يدعوننا إلى الإسلام، ففررنا منهم، فربطوا نواصينا، وجاءوا بنا في سبي بني العنبر، فأسلمنا عنده، ودعا لنا، ومسح رأس زياد، ودعا له. قلت: اختلف في ضبط أبيه، فقيل بالجيم، وقيل بالمهملة، وقيل بالمعجمة.
