    ٢٣٤٠ ز- خسيس «٥» : بمعجمة مصغرا، الكنديّ. أنشد له أبو حذيفة البخاريّ في الفتوح شعرا قاله في طاعون عمواس، ذكره ابن عساكر في تاريخه يقول فيه: فصبرنا لهم كما حكم الله ... وكنّا في الموت أهل تأسّي [الخفيف] قلت: وهذا غير خسيس الكنديّ الآتي في الأخير.
