    ١٨٦٥ ز- حنظلة بن ربيعة الأسديّ: ذكر ابن إسحاق أنه كان في وفد بني تميم، وأن النبي ﷺ قال له: «ادع قومك إلى الإسلام» «٤» . ويغلب على الظن أنه الّذي قبله، فقد حكى في اسم أبيه أنه ربيعة وأنه الأسدي، فلعلّ أصله الأسيّدي، وحنظلة الكاتب يقال له الأسيّدي بالتشديد، نسبة إلى أسيّد بن عمرو بن تميم.
