    ١٧٦٦ ز- حطان التميمي اليربوعي: ذكره ابن فتحون في الذيل، قال سعيد بن يحيى الأمويّ: حدّثنا أبي، حدثني من سمع حصين بن عبد الرحمن، حدّثنا عمرو بن ميمون الأوديّ. قال: إني لقائم خلف عمر ما بيني وبينه إلا ابن عباس فوصف قصة قتله، فلما رأى ذلك رجل من المهاجرين يقال له حطّان التميمي اليربوعي طرح عليه برنسا فلما ظنّ أبو لؤلؤة أنه مقتول أمرّ الخنجر على أوداجه فذبح نفسه. قلت: والقصة في صحيح البخاريّ، وليس فيها تسمية حطان. وفي قصة أخرى أن الّذي طرح عليه البرنس هاشم بن عتبة، وفي أخرى عبد اللَّه بن عوف. فاللَّه أعلم.
