    ١١٩٩ ز- جناب بن حارثة [ (٣) ] بن صخر بن مالك بن عبد مناة العذريّ. ذكره أبو حاتم السّجستانيّ في «المعمّرين» ، فقال: أدرك حارثة الإسلام فلم يسلم، وأسلم ابنه جناب، وهاجر إلى المدينة فجزع أبوه من ذلك جزعا شديدا، فذكر له شعرا في ذلك يقول فيه: إذا هتف الحمام على غصون ... جرت عبرات دمعي بانسكاب يذكّرني الحمام صفيّ عيشي ... جنابا من غذيري من جناب أردت ثواب ربّك في فراقي ... وقربي كان أقرب للثّواب [الوافر] وهذه الأبيات تشبه أبيات أميّة بن الأسكر في ابنه كلاب، وفيها قد يشعر بأنّ حارثة أسلم.
