    ١١٠٠- جثامة [ (١) ] - بفتح أوله وتثقيل المثلثة- ابن قيس- ذكره ابن مندة، وروى من طريق حبيب بن عبيد الرحبيّ، عن أبي بشر، عن جثامة بن قيس، وكان من أصحاب النبيّ ﷺ مرفوعا: «من صام يوما في سبيل اللَّه باعده اللَّه عن النّار مائة عام» . وفي الإسناد من لا يعرف. وسيأتي في ترجمة الصعب بن جثّامة بن قيس بن عبد اللَّه بن يعمر الليثي ووالده غير هذا.

    ١١٠١- جثّامة [ (٢) ] بن مساحق بن ربيع بن قيس الكناني. له صحبة، وأرسله عمر إلى هرقل. وروى ابن مندة من طريق عبد الخالق الحمصي، عن يحيى بن أيوب، عن الكنانيّ رسول عمر إلى هرقل، وكان يقال جثّامة بن مساحق، قال: جلست فلم أدر ما تحتي وإذا تحتي كرسي من ذهب، فلما رأيته نزلت عنه، فضحك، فقال لي: لم نزلت عنه؟ فقلت: إني سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ ينهى عن مثل هذا.
