    ٩٧٢- ثوبان العنسيّ، جدّ عبد الرحمن بن ثابت بن ثوبان. روى ابن عساكر من طريق الأوزاعي، عن ثابت بن ثوبان، عن أبيه أن النبي ﷺ أتي بطعام فقال: «يؤمّ النّاس في الطّعام الإمام أو ربّ الطّعام أو خيرهم» . وثابت بن ثوبان تابعي معروف، وأبوه لم أجد له ذكرا إلا في هذه الرواية فقط. ولم يذكر فيها سماعا، فما أدري أهو مرسل أم لا؟.
