    ٨٤١- تميم بن حارث [ (٣) ] بن قيس بن عدي بن سعد بن سهم القرشي السهميّ. قال الزّبير: قتل يوم أجنادين شهيدا، وقتل معه أخوه لأمّه سعيد بن عمرو التميمي، وأمهما من بني عامر بن صعصعة. وذكره أبو الأسود، عن عروة، فيمن هاجر إلى الحبشة، وكذا ذكره الزهري. وسماه الواقدي نميرا- بنون في أوله مضمومة وبراء، وتقدم أن ابن إسحاق قال: بشير بن الحارث، فذكر أنه هاجر إلى الحبشة. وقال البلاذريّ: تميم بن الحارث هاجر في الثانية إلى الحبشة، ومعه أخ له من بني تميم يقال له معبد، واستشهد تميم بالشام بأجنادين، وكان أبوه من المستهزءين.
