    ٦٩٤- بشير بن سعد [ (٢) ] بن ثعلبة بن جلاس- بضم الجيم مخففا. وضبطه الدار الدّارقطنيّ بفتح الخاء المعجمة وتثقيل اللّام- ابن زيد بن مالك بن ثعلبة بن كعب بن الخزرج الأنصاري البدريّ، والد النّعمان. له ذكر في صحيح مسلم وغيره في قصّة الهبة لولده، وحديثه في النسائيّ. استشهد بعين التمر مع خالد بن الوليد في خلافة أبي بكر سنة اثنتي عشرة، ويقال: إنه أول من بايع أبا بكر من الأنصار. وقال الواقديّ: بعثه النبيّ ﷺ في سرية إلى فدك [ (٣) ] في شعبان، ثم بعثه في شوّال نحو وادي القرى.
