(خ ط ند بر د ت س ق).وقيل: أوس بن أبي أوس عداده في أهل الشام. روى عنه أبو الأشعث الصنعاني وابنه عمرو بن أوس وعطاء والد يعلى بن عطاء، له أحاديث في الصيام، وروى من غسل واغتسل يعني يوم الجمعة (¬١)، الحديث. (بر (¬٢)): قال عباس سمعت يحيى بن معين يقول: أوس بن أوس، وأوس بن أبي أوس واحد. وغلط (¬٣) يحيى بن معين، والله أعلم، لأن أوس بن أبي أوس هو أوس بن حذيفة (¬٤).

    ٣١٥- أوس بن أوس الثقفي [ (٥) ] روى له أصحاب السنن الأربعة أحاديث صحيحة منرواية الشاميين عنه، نقل عباس، عن ابن معين أن أوس بن أوس الثقفيّ وأوس بن أبي أوس الثقفي واحد. وقيل: إن ابن معين أخطأ في ذلك، وإن الصواب أنهما اثنان، وقد تبع ابن معين على ذلك أبو داود وغيره. والتحقيق أنهما اثنان، ومن قال في أوس بن أوس: أوس بن أبي أوس- أخطأ، كما قيل في أوس بن أبي أوس: أوس بن أوس، وهو خطأ، وأما أوس بن أبي أوس فاسم والده حذيفة كما سيأتي.
