    ٢١٤ ز- أصيد بن سلمة بن قريظ بن عبيد بن أبي بكر بن عبد اللَّه بن كلاب الكلابي. قال الواقديّ، والطّبريّ: أسلم، وبعثه النبيّ ﷺ في جيش مع الضحاك بن سفيانالكلابي إلى قومه، فلما ضافّوهم دعا الأصيد أباه إلى الإسلام فأبى، فحمل عليه الأصيد فعرقب فرسه، فسقط سلمة وتوكأ على رمحه، وأمسك أصيد عنه تأدبا، فلحقه المسلمون فقتلوه، وذلك في شهر ربيع الأول سنة تسع. استدركه ابن فتحون، ونقله ابن شاهين، عن محمد بن إبراهيم، عن محمد بن يزيد، عن رجاله، ولكنه خلطه بالذي قبله. والصواب التفرقة.
