    ٤٥- أحمر بن سواء [ (٤) ] بن عدي بن مرة بن حمران بن عوف بن عمرو بن الحارث بن سدوس السدوسي. عداده في أهل الكوفة [ (٥) ] ، قاله ابن مندة. وأخرج له من طريق العلاء بن منهال، عن إياد بن لقيط، عن أحمر بن سواء السدوسي- أنه كان له صنم يعبده، فعمد إليه، فألقاه في بئر، ثم أتى النبي ﷺ فبايعه، هذا حديث غريب والعلاء كوفي يجمع حديثه.
