    يس اللدي الفقيه الشافعي المحدث المفسر المنطقي النحوي الأديب المفنن كان له قدم راسخ في العبادةوالإفادة لطالب الاستفادة رحل إلى الأزهر بالقاهرة وأخذ عن جملة من الشيوخ كالنجم محمد الحفني والشهاب أحمد بن عبد الفتاح الملوي وأحمد بن عبد المنعم الدمنهوري والشيخ علي الصعيدي والشيخ حسن المدابغي وغيرهم وأجازوا له ثم رجع منها وتوطن مدينة نابلس وتصدر هناك للتدريس والإفادة ولما عمر الوزير سليمان باشا الجامع الشرقي المعروف بالوزيري نصبه إماماً به ومدرساً فتصدر لذلك وقام بحقوق ما هنالك فأفاد وأجاد ونفع العباد وكانت وفاته في حدود التسعين ومائة وألف رحمه الله تعالى
